They receive a lot of my love and attention in terms of story, but I’ve neglected to make pictures of them; something I feel quite guilty about, especially since they are perhaps my favorite couple!~ || The title refers to the fact that both Soichiro and Kitsune hold high positions within the Zetsurai Clan; Soichiro is a military general, while Kitsune is a high-ranking politician. Their respective duties have often forced them apart, usually for long stretches of time (the longest they’ve spent apart is five years o.o), before they are allowed the opportunity to return to each other. Considering how people change as they grow, it’s not impossible to consider that Soichiro and Kitsune are different people (from the memory each has of the other) every time they encounter. In a sense, they go through a process of distancing and re-meeting; where they are obliged to “find themselves” again. Ignoring how cheesy this next statement may seem: Soichiro and Kitsune are two people who have managed to fall in love with each other many times, while simultaneously never falling “out” of love. (L)
